Here are tracks from my album "Dreams to Reality" plus a pile of songs that didn't make the cut or see any release. Production started in 2016 back when I was 16 years old ohhh gosh haha.
If you weren't aware, my old username until late 2018? was TMM12. I ditched the username because it's strange lol.
Here I AmDOWNLOAD
The working name for this song was "NES Wub-Wub" all the way until release. That's what the unknown pulse channel vocal says before the first drop. I really loved the title (and still refer to it as such to myself in my head) but I thought it was embarassing so I changed it to "Here I Am" because it's the first track on my first real album!
I was in such a composing mood when I wrote this. If I recall I wrote the entire song in one long all-nighter.
Over the HillsDOWNLOAD
This is the track that kept postponing the release of the album. I couldn't be happy with it no matter how hard I tried. Ah well, it has some cool ideas in it that I definitely was happy with, and still am a bit today.
I vaguely remember being rather depressed when I wrote this one. Melodic leads and growls done up will always have a place in my heart <3
SUPER proud of this track!! This one probably aged the best out of the 6 tracks on the album.
The track I tried to pass off as future bass, but the end result was rather experimental. I still think it's a fun listen. Part of the track actually originated from a MilkyTracker sketch that you can find below if you want to check it out!
Here's a complete track I never released! This track uses the 2a03 pulse channels to create a heavy-metal guitar sound. Unfortunately, the mixing and overall song I deemed as rubbish, so it stayed in the folder collecting dust...until now. Discharge was also a working title.
(Unreleased) VRC6 Pop SketchDOWNLOAD
This song is arguably finished, don't know why I didn't release it honestly. The reason may be that my idea of a finished song was 3-4+ minutes and this one fell short.
(Unreleased) 2a03 DubstepDOWNLOAD
Here is another complete song I never released! I wanted to make a western-dubstep track using exclusively 2a03 and no DPCM samples. The finished product became very repetitive and mundane...not the fault of the chip choice, but just poor song writing I wasn't happy with.
This song I kept adding ideas and adding ideas and adding ideas and adding ideas and adding ideas...etc. Mostly just a scratch pad for default engine speed gimmicks honestly.
(Unreleased) Liquid DnBDOWNLOAD
I abandoned this one because of mixing issues and hardware playback. The PowerPak would slow this song down because of the N163 Chords instrument constantly shifting the waveform. That's a recipe for slowdown! This song will play at the intended speed if you have a hardware-overclock modded NES, but that's a topic for a future write up...
(Unreleased) Hardcore 2a03DOWNLOAD
This file is hacked to play at 415hz (G#4). I've tried time and time again to make this song work, but not a single idea came to me. (Which is a shame because I love this drop...)
(Unreleased) Melodic Dubstep SketchDOWNLOAD
This idea lasted about 2 days before I abandoned it. This is the epitomy of a sketch, a very brief idea that went nowhere very shortly.
(Bonus) future bass thingy.xmDOWNLOAD
I made this during a class I think. I used FT and Milky a lot on the school computers during high school. Those were the days...
